Prices are way up, and don’t expect meaningful relief soon | Toronto Star

In Canada, consumer prices have been increasing, making it more and more difficult for families to make ends meet. In September, Statistics Canada released its latest Consumer Price Index (CPI), showing the fastest year over year increase since 2003. The price of food is one of the main components of the CPI that continues to increase, with no sign of stopping. As food prices rise, making sure hungry children have access to Student Nutrition Programs is crucial.
